Guatemala October 2001 with Christina and Marjory

While I was in Costa Rica I had to leave to renew my visa, so I took advantage of a cheap deal to visit Guatemala again. Christina and Marjory came too and we had a LOT of retail therapy!

I love the colours of the clothes the Mayan people wear.

You can see the clouds of copal incense and the flowers that are used as offerings to the saints in this church.

There was a wedding going on in this church in Antigua, and later the bride and groom rode off in the carriage. At night the rosary hanging down the front of the church is lit up. Tasteful.
