Back in Playa del Carmen

After being miserable for months in Costa Rica, I was SO glad to get back to Playa del Carmen. You can see why...

Here I am in my cute little apartment, lazing in my hammock and drinking a beer. Bliss.

A Cenote is a natural pool caused by a limestone cave collapsing. There are hundreds of them in the Yucatan region. They are fed by a network of underground rivers, and the water is so clear it's difficult to guess how deep it is. This one's about 15 minutes from where I live. Here you see me with Marlo, an American friend I met in Costa Rica.
